I’m just getting into Intensity and am vastly impressed with it — thanks!

I’m adapting your Homepage #4 from the demo, have replaced the demo main image with mine, figured out how to put my main text in and my picture — all well and good.

Under that main image, and the next band of text and my picture there is a band of 8 images that link to your demo posts. I’ve edited your demo post titles — but I can’t figure out how to replace your photos with mine. Can you point me in the right direction?

Is there documentation for the theme that non-coders can understand? My webmaster is going to be doing the heavy lifting, but she’s out right now and I’m trying to stumble through and learn enough so that I can do basic site maintenance, etc.

Never mind – I found it. For benefit of other newbies like me, here’s what worked:

Edit the post itself. Underneath the text area and all the SEO stuff, Post Options, etc., — down at the bottom, you’ll come to Featured Gallery. Click on the blue Add to Gallery button, then select the image you want to use from your media gallery that will be displayed. Remove the extra one that came with the demo. The appropriate size seems to be 400 by 400 px.

Update the post. When you go back to your home page, you should see the right image being displayed along with the post title as a like to the post itself.

Hello! Thank you for the kind words. We’re glad that you’re liking Intensity so far. There’s a lot to go through.

Sorry we didn’t get back to you sooner, but we’re glad that you got the images all figured out. Sometimes it’s difficult to see those extra meta sections that are on the page, since they’re so far down the page. The gallery section is used in conjunction with the Featured Image, essentially allowing you to add additional featured images, even including audio or video into the featured images (on a post that includes a slider of the featured items, the images, audio, and video will all be included in the slider).

If you find that you need any additional help, please let us know.

Creating a support ticket is typically the better way to go, as we respond to them quicker than we do to the forum posts.
