How Do I Update my Intense plugin? I’m currently using version 2.8.0. I’ve downloaded the new version and tried uploading over the top but this didn’t seem to work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello!

You can deactivate, delete, then re-install the latest version (no settings will be lost), or you can go through the “Product License” options to activate your copy of Intense with our server. Once activated, you’ll be able to update through WordPress, like other plugins.

Go to Settings->Intense from the WordPress menu, then to the “Product License” tab. Fill in the information, then save the options. Once the options are all saved, you’ll see an “Activate” button show up near the bottom of the settings on that tab. Click the activate button and it will activate with our server. Your site will then check with our server every so often to compare the version number to see if there is an available update. If there is an update available, you will see the update show the same way that other updates show up.

If you have any troubles, please let us know. As a warning, there are issues sometimes with the activation step, mainly due to server settings. If the server won’t allow communication with our server, so we can pass back the activation code, the activation may not work. In this situation, the easiest way to update is to deactivate, delete, and then re-install.
