Intense prevents items from publishing in the Avada theme. In order to publish, I must deactivate Intense.

We’re sorry to hear that you’re having this issue. The issue is not just with Avada. The issue arose with one of the WordPress updates and was fixed in the latest version of Intense (version 2.5.9). Please update Intense to the latest version and you should find that everything will work correctly.
